Urban Gym Group appoints Neil Randall as new CEO of TrainMore and ClubsportiveAmsterdam, October 2022. Neil Randall will become the new CEO of TrainMore and Clubsportive at Urban Gym Group (UGG) on November 2022. Previously, Randall served as CEO at Anytime Fitness and held senior positions at GO Mammoth and LA Fitness.Jordy Kool, who joined CEO Marjolijn Meijer as interim co-CEO in 2020, will stay on as chairman of the board. Marjolijn Meijer, co-founder of all Urban Gym Group’s labels, will take on the position of vice-chairman. She will focus fully on the growth of the recently founded well-being centre Renessence, as well as UGG’s boutique label BTY CLB. Next to that she will remain active for the entire group in managing and expanding the real estate club portfolio. She will search for new locations and possible acquisitions.Meijer: “I am excited that Neil is joining our team. He will continue the growth of our clubs. He is passionate about exceeding members’ expectations and has a lot of experience in developing, inspiring and coaching teams.”Kool: “Neil has a background as a professional cricketer, this professional sportsman attitude is still with him. Earlier this year, the Urban Gym Group raised an investment of 16 million euros.
