In the former Hutspot store on the Van Wou Straat in Amsterdam, TrainMore’s newest location will open Monday September 5, 2022. This is the 13th TrainMore location in Amsterdam and the 35th club of the Urban Gym Group. TrainMore, who reported a growth of 50% earlier this year, is known for the concept that taking good care of yourself should be rewarded. Members receive a financial reward per visit. Marjolijn Meijer, CEO: “The financial trigger, in combination with fun and a community where you feel at home, ensures that our members come back more often. There will be DJs, drinks, a free tattoo artist, lots of goodies, and more.”InvestmentsEarlier this year, the Urban Gym Group raised an investment of 16 million euros. Meijer: “We continue to invest in new locations, takeovers of gyms and upgrades of existing locations. TrainMore Singel is being expanded by 600 m2 and will open soon, Rotterdam Coolsingel is being renovated, and we’re designing two new TrainMore gyms at Amsterdam Javaplein and Westerpark. Next to that, substantial investments are being made in staff expansion and learning and development.
