HR is extremely important to our company’s success. Together with your team, you’ll be the one to ensure we have a happy and productive workplace where everyone works to realize our established mission and objectives in the fitness industry. Promoting corporate values and shaping a positive culture is a vital aspect of the role.

You will take ownership of all HR matters across the company from recruitment to performance reviews, wage reviews, learning and development. To perform well in this role, you should have experience as a HR manager and knowledge around all legal requirements in this role. You will lead a team of 4 HR executives and you will report directly to the Chief of Staff.

HR Manager Responsibilities

·       Leading and developing a team of 4 human resource executives.

·       Consistently recruiting excellent staff for HQ and our clubs.

·       Maintaining a smooth onboarding process.

·       Training, counseling, and coaching our staff.

·       Carrying out excellent L&D strategies.

·       Conducting performance and wage reviews.

·       Developing clear policies and ensuring policy awareness.

·       Managing and acting on all HR KPI’s

·       Creating clear and concise reports for the board.

·       Maintaining and reporting on workplace health and safety compliance.

·       Handling workplace investigations, disciplinary and termination procedures.

·       Maintaining employee and workplace privacy.

HR Manager Requirements

·       Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or equivalent.

·       Minimum of 5 years’ experience as HR manager.

·       Having worked in a retail environment with many locations is a pre.

·       Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues.

·       Experience in setting up learning & development strategies.

·       Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills

·       Attention to detail and good judgement

·       Strong experience in KPI based management

·       Excellent knowledge of relevant laws.

·       Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

·       Competency in HRIS software.

·       Feeling strongly connected to our core values.

·       Can do mentality, ability to deep dive into topics.

·       Excellent knowledge of Dutch and English language.
